Welcome to Dunedin Dance Boutique

We're proud to be Dunedin's new dance, gymnastics and performance arts destination, providing quality dancewear, gymnastics wear, aerobics essentials, shoes and accessories. Our boutique is designed to be a welcoming space for dancers, gymnasts and performers of every age, ability and aspiration.

Located at 218 George Street (Mall 218, old Harvest Court Mall) in the heart of Dunedin two doors along from McDonalds, our goal is to offer a carefully selected range of ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, gymnastics and performance essentials, supported by knowledgeable and friendly service.

As a dance family ourselves, we understand the importance of finding the right products for every stage of a dancer's journey. Whether you're taking your very first class, preparing for examinations, or progressing to pointe work or taking your performance on stage, we're here to support you every step of the way. From ballet shoes and dancewear to performance accessories and specialist products, we aim to help every dancer, gymnasts and performing artist & athlete feel confident, comfortable, and ready to perform at their best.

Our carefully selected product range includes trusted brands, quality footwear, dance and gymnastics wear and accessories. Professional pointe shoe fitting services are planned as a future expansion once staff training, fitting accreditation and stock levels support the service. We can however get some brands of pointe shoes in, if fitting is not required, come talk to us and we can see what we can achieve. 

Our Purpose

We are committed to supporting dancers and performance artists & athletes from their very first class through to advanced training and performance, helping every dancer to feel inspired and empowered. We are also excited to learn as we grow within our gymnastics and aerobics and other performance arts community.

We opened our doors on 22 August 2026, Dunedin Dance Boutique (DDB) offering:

• Ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary dancewear
• Dance shoes and accessories
• Competition and performance essentials
• Gymnastics wear and essentials (we are currently working on footwear options)
• Aerobics essentials (we are working on footwear options)
• Friendly, personalised customer service
• Pointe Shoe & specialist fitting services (coming in mid to late 2027)

We carefully select trusted brands including PW Dance, Energetiks, Capezio, Bailaz, Slickd NZ,Verticle Tutu Hangers to ensure dancers, gymnasts, aerobic athletes and performance artists can perform with confidence and comfort.

We look forward to becoming part of the Dunedin dance, gymnastics and performance arts community and helping every dancer and performer take their next step.
